Multiple Sclerosis Society

Roger has signed a letter and petition organized by the Multiple Sclerosis Society calling on the Minister for Disabled People, Esther McVey MP, to make further changes to to the regulations and guidance that will come in effect when Personal Independence Payments (PIP) replaces Disability Living Allowance (DLA) in April.
Although the MS Society welcome some of the changes that have been made to the administration of PIP it still has a number of concerns principal amongst which include a thorough evaluation of the rules used to assess people with fluctuating conditions and changing the strict ‘mobility’ criteria and making it easier for people to be disqualified.
